First Wedding dream
September 2, 2010
According to wikipedia - A dream is a succession of images, sounds or emotions that the mind experiences during sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history.
I never had dreams about our wedding day till last night, maybe because it gets nearer each day, I might be thinking about it subconsciously. Anyhow, I just wanted to record my first dream (and coming dreams for that matter) while I can still remember parts of it.
First vivid image is Ge sleeping on my lap, then the next morning we are facing the altar. Second thing I remember is that the church is full packed- just what I wanted my wedding ceremony to be. For me the church ceremony is always important. Next scene is that the photographer asked me to give photos of us and friends, and I remember giving him a photo of a friend I don't see or even talk to these days, or in the past years or so. The photo is her jump shot in a white chiffon dress, so weird. And I was like, why did I give this to you? Why her?
Weird part is - when the photographer face was closed up (like in movies) it was a familiar face, like a maintenance crew or a janitor in the hotel where we are having our wedding preps, and he said he just sidelined as our photographer since our hired photographers can't make it. :( Not bad results though. It was ok! more then OK actually. he he
Next scene - was back to church, and were announced as husband and wife. When we face the people. Ge and I were asked to sit-down and we were surrounded by few girls, covering us so people won't be able to see us.
The girl (seems to be the main make-up artist) said - I need to do a retouch on you, you sweat a lot. Because we were hidden, we were not able to tell the people that the dinner immediately follows.
Next scene I remember was we went home, and found out someone announced that the reception will be the day after. And we were like, God! It's also today, and the people were gone, and we don't know what to do as the suppliers and everything is already ready.
Strange huh?
Maybe one of my fears...
